For over 60 years ‘Hazarawalls’ have been compromising on their identity and no consideration for their rights have been compensated by the Pakistani government. They now demand their own province. Industrial Outlook

Hazara is the heart of NWFP with the maximum economic and cultural contribution of 85 percent of total income of NWFP. Hazara produces 70 percent tea of total production of Pakistan and Hazara also produces the 100 percent Tobacco for Pakistan. Tarbela Dam is also located in Hazara from where the government of Pakistan has produces 39 percent from the total electricity production in the country. A rare and very expensive kind of fishes namely Trout are also available in Hazara beautiful “Kunhar” river and all three lakes.
 

Culture of Hazara:

The most exotic lake and the second most beautiful place on Earth “Lake Saif-ul-Maluk”, Lullu Sar Laka and most beautiful Dudipat Sar Lake could have been the central point of tourism and hospitality industry, but still neglected.
Hazara has a very rich culture and history. Alexander, Ashoka, Turks, Durrani, Sikh and British have ruled us, but today we are free and ready to show the world that we are progressive and prosperous. “Hindko” is our mother language with “Pashto” and “Kohistani” spoken as second language.
 

Demographics

The population of Hazara is more than 6 million with a total area of 18013 km2. The Hazarawals are not extremist and conservation. They have the most realistic literacy rate of 94 percent.
